The first port of call after a relaxing sea day is Noumea, the capital city of New Caledonia. This city is full of french heritage as well as native Kanak culture, making it a fascinating place to explore, eat and shop. The next stop is Lifou, one of New Caledonia's beautiful Loyalty Islands. If you want to get in the water, here is the place to do it as the landscapes are just as breathtaking underwater as above. The final stop before the return to Brisbane is Port Vila in Vanuatu, a gorgeous town surrounding a natural harbour. There are great handicraft markets here.

About the Pacific Dawn
Pacific Dawn was built by Fincantieri in Trieste, Italy in 1991 as Regal Princess. Her distinctive curved profile—often referred to as 'dolphin-like'—was designed by Renzo Piano, She had a major refurbishment in 2000 and in September 2007 in Singapore. Like all of the well-loved P&O Australia ships, the Dawn is chock full of activities and great dining venues to keep all passengers occupied and well fed!
